Interview with Helen & Jessica

Helen Bohuslav - Founder/Lead Organizer

Helen is a mom to two young boys and wife to a native Austinite. Amist the chaos of the pandemic and life with a 1 and 3 year old, she launched the Uncluttered business after seeing the difference organization made in her own home. Helen graduated from the University of Texas with a Master’s degree in Social Work and worked for 10 years in the medical and Hospice settings. Her background brings a unique sensitivity and understanding into how our histories and habits interfere with our abilities to maintain effective systems of organization. Helen is passionate about helping others and listening to their personal stories — those stories are what shape even the most basic aspects of our lives. Helen’s focus is to create a sense of calm and clarity in your life. Her attention to detail aims to ensure that your personalized system will be maintainable even after the team is gone.

Jessica Stephens - Lead Organizer

Jessica joined the Uncluttered team in 2021. Jessica’s educational background in Communication and Library Science provides perspective on how organizational systems affect our daily lives and how we function at work and at home. When our space is organized effectively, we communicate more effectively, and we have space to enjoy life. She lives in a small house with her husband, three children, a dog, cat, and some fish and can empathize very much with clients about how home organizational systems are an evolving work in progress. She also has many years experience in office settings and understands the ins and outs of what makes work flow effectively in the office. Jessica is a certified yoga instructor and brings a sense of calm and focus to every environment.

Leanne Keaney - Assistant Organizer

Leanne comes to us with a background in massage therapy and currently owns a skincare business. She has moved across the country several times, from New Hampshire to California to Nevada, finally settling in Texas. Moving so many times has helped her evaluate her material belongings and identify what is important and what is not, and she shares that knowledge with clients who need help paring down. Her experience as an entrepreneur provides her with unique and personal insight into the inner workings of business ownership. Leanne brings excitement and energy to each job.

Gretchen Visser - Assistant Organizer

Gretchen is passionate about organizing and has a background in education, continuing her role as a substitute teacher with AISD. She previously lived in NYC and mastered the art of organizing for her family in a small living space! Her role in the classroom taught her to set up effective organizational systems on a tight budget. These experiences have allowed her to have fun and get creative with organizing, and she loves to share that with clients.
